Municipal Ordinance Violation Enforcement (MOVE) was created so municipalities and counties can issue, track and manage Local Ordinance violations.
Sample ordinance violations consist of:
- Curfew
- Selling Cigarettes or Alcohol to minors.
- Noise Violations (barking dogs, loud music)
- No Business License
- Administrative Tows
Our Local Ordinance software allows a government agency to manage the progress of every ordinance violation entered in the database. From issuance of a citation, to scheduling a hearing, generating summons and subpoenas, through to a finding, decision and order, MOVE will help streamline the hearing process.
System features enable an administrator to set and maintain security by user, so operators can only access areas of the software related to their respective tasks. MOVE offers a variety of standard reports – some examples are: List of Offenses, Officers, Locations and History. Reports are available, in an easily customizable format that can be printed or exported to desktop tools, like Excel.
Once a citation has completed the hearing process and remains unpaid, the software will create a collection file. The file can be electronically transferred to our preferred collection agency, Municipal Collection Services, Inc. (MCSI) Click here for more information.
MSI’s Local Ordinance software offers municipalities and counties the tools to gain better control of ordinance violations and increase the rate of compliance. It will help expedite resolution, and as an added benefit, increase revenue.
